Established in 2024, the SHS Majorette Boosters dba Major Mamas are a dedicated group of parents, guardians and community supporters committed to empowering marginalized youth, with a special focus on young women. Our mission is to provide essential resources and opportunities through fundraising, mentorship, and community engagement, ensuring that every participant has the support needed to excel both on and off the field.
We are passionate about fostering leadership, building self-confidence, and promoting a positive image for the majorette program and its participants. By supporting the personal, academic, and professional development of young women from underserved communities, we aim to help them navigate their journeys with confidence and resilience. Our goal is to equip every participant to thrive in the program and in all aspects of life.
Purpose Statement
The SHS Majorette Boosters exist to support marginalized youth, particularly young women, in their mission to empower, develop and mentor and prepare for adulthood. Through focused fundraising and active community involvement, we provide crucial resources that promote leadership development, confidence building, and the creation of positive pathways. Our support extends beyond the field, ensuring that every participant is equipped with the tools they need to grow, lead, and succeed both within the majorette program and in their broader life experiences.
